GOURMET REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS

To Prepare your turkey from refrigerated:

  • Let it sit out for an hour or two bringing it to room temperature before putting it in the oven.

  • Preheat the oven to 250 deg-325 deg (do not go hotter than 325deg F, you WILL dry your bird out!)

  • Baste with apple juice or chicken stock to help keep it moist and cover with tinfoil, remove foil for the last 20 minutes to  crispen the skin.

  • Gently warm your turkey until it reaches a temperature of 140 deg in the center of the breast. Then let it rest for 30 mins.

*NOTE: Your turkey was already cooked to 165 deg so you don't need to reheat the bird past 140 deg. Be sure to reheat it slowly, evenly, and keep a close eye on it using a temperature probe thermometer.

Approximate cooking times: 275deg F should take 3-4hrs. 325deg F 2 hours.

-ENJOY!
